What is wedding bingo? Wedding bingo is a social observation game for invited guests. Players mark familiar ceremony or reception moments, such as a toast, a favorite song, or a full dance floor. OutThere Bingo plans a wedding-themed mobile pack and private rooms for guest groups on iOS and Android. The app is still in development, and good play follows the couple’s schedule, venue rules, and privacy expectations.

Who is wedding bingo for?

It fits invited guests who want a light table activity during natural downtime: friends who have not met, relatives bridging generations, or a quieter table easing into the reception. A host should know the couple and venue well enough to judge whether a game feels welcome. It should support the celebration, not become a competing event.

How would wedding bingo work?

Check that the idea fits. If appropriate, ask the couple or organizer before introducing a game.
Choose the wedding theme. The host selects the planned pack before the reception gets busy.
Invite a small group privately. Keep the game within the table or guest group that chose to play.
Mark kind, shared moments. Pause for vows, speeches, announcements, meals, and anything that deserves full attention.

What etiquette matters most?

Never embarrass a guest

Avoid bodies, clothing mishaps, drinking behavior, family tension, protected traits, or anything meant to shame someone.

Follow photo rules

Do not take or share photos when the couple, venue, or person has not welcomed them. A square never overrides consent.

Stay present

Put phones down for the ceremony, speeches, formal dances, announcements, and other focal moments.

Keep access private

Do not post game invitations, guest details, names, or private celebration information publicly.
